ART DECO, FROSTED MILK GLASS THEATER LAMP FIXTURE, C1917, H 13", W 96" (8')
An Art Deco theater lighting fixture consisting of individual frosted milk glass panels in a horizontal cylindrical shape when assembled to its metal framework. Mounted on a metal panel with wood backing. Attached to a two-piece wood stand measuring 72" H. for display purposes. Electrified and includes some of the original light bulbs. Includes additional spare glass panels and light bulbs. Attributed to the Family Theater in Monroe, Michigan, which opened in 1917. If mounting to a wall the wood backing may have to be removed as it is not original to the piece.
